Jericho was an ancient Hebrew city located in nowadays Jordan area. It is the oldest city found in the world so far. Surrounding Jericho are deserts without grasses, and Jericho was the only oasis that located on the foot of a strange shaped mountain. There was a fountain coming out from this mountain that provided the water and nutriciant to the people of Jericho. It was this water that made Jericho a rich and prosperous city then.

From this story, we could learn that “water” is the source of all cultures, lives and in fact everything. Without water, there would be no existence of Jericho, nor the evolution of the world.
